Canada – Actress Emma Roberts was arrested following an altercation with her boyfriend in Canada. As reported by omg! the star was arrested for domestic violence July 7 after her boyfriend actor Evan Peters was purportedly left with a bloody nose following their argument.
A representative for Roberts is quoted by omg! as stating of the incident, “It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding… Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.”
The case was reportedly closed after Peters decided not to press charges.
Roberts is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and the niece of Oscar winning star Julia Roberts.
