Georgia – Tameka Foster, the ex-wife of Usher, has filed for custody of their two sons together after one nearly drowned in a pool accident. As reported by Us Weekly, Foster filed legal documents on Tuesday requesting an emergency hearing one day after their 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V was hospitalized due to the accident.
According to reports by TMZ, the child’s arm became stuck in a drain while he was being watched by his aunt at the singer’s pool. Usher was reportedly not at home at the time of the incident, but returned in time to ride with his son to the hospital in the ambulance.
Foster’s 11-year-old son, who was stepson to Usher, died last year in a jet ski accident.
Usher and Foster have been engaged in an ongoing custody battle since the singer filed for divorce in 2009 after almost two years of marriage.
