Employee vs. Independent Contractor is the latest survey that has been launched by NETtime Solutions, a cloud-based time and attendance solution provider. The survey is targeted to both business owners that may hire independent contractors as well as the workers they employ including traditional employees and 1099s.
The Employee vs. Independent Contractor survey is focused on the use of different hiring practices, why a business chooses to use a W2 vs. 1099 employee, what employment laws may be broken in the hiring practice, as well as how the independent contractors that are hired by the business feel about their position and work experience.
The survey, which is now accessible at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/IndependentContractor, will run until October 31st and provides one winner with a $50 Visa gift card for their time invested in taking the survey.
“Understanding the motivation behind why business owners hire both independent contractors and traditional employees, in addition to learning how those employees are treated once they are hired, will help provide a snapshot into the current HR landscape,” stated Howard Lennie, Director of Marketing at NETtime Solutions.
Following the conclusion of Employee vs. Independent Contractor, full results will be posted to http://www.Facebook.com/NETtime and covered in the weekly NETtime Solutions Blog.
