California – Lamar Odom was arrested early Friday on suspicion of DUI. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, the veteran NBA player was stated by the California Highway Patrol to have been spotted driving erratically on a San Fernando Valley freeway.
Odom, who most recently played for the Clippers, has made headlines recently over claims that he was battling a drug problem and having marital trouble with wife and reality star Khloe Kardashian Odom.
A CHP report is quoted by the Los Angeles Times as reading Odom demonstrated “objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated.”
CHP officials stated Odom was booked without incident at a Van Nuys jail around 5:00 a.m.
