Los Angeles – Actress Amanda Bynes has entered rehab after leaving a psych hospital. As reported by omg! the move comes less than a week after an attorney for the troubled former Nickelodeon star stated that her psychological issues made her unfit to stand trial.
A Bynes’ family lawyer is quoted by omg! as stating of the actress, “Currently, upon recommendation by the skilled healthcare professionals at UCLA Medical Center, Amanda is receiving specialized treatment in a private facility outside of Los Angeles.”
Bynes, 27, was placed in a 5150 psychiatric hold in July and has since been undergoing psychological evaluation.
The attorney for the Bynes family is further quoted as stating, “The entire Bynes family would like to ask that they be given some measure of privacy so they can focus on Amanda’s health and well-being… The Bynes family would also like to thank all of Amanda’s supporters and well-wishers for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
