Los Angeles – Former Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir has filed for divorce from Victor Weir-Voronov after two years of marriage. As reported by Yahoo! Celebrity, an interview with Weir discussing the dissolution of their marriage is set to air on Thursday on “Access Hollywood.”
Weir is quoted in the report as stating to “Access” in February when speaking of marriage, “A marriage between two guys is different than what I imagine a marriage between a man and a woman [to be]… I mean, we’re both constantly trying to fight to wear the pants in the relationship. It’s constant fireworks. It’s very boom, boom, boom.”
Weir and Voronov married in 2011 on New Year’s Eve. The couple reportedly do not have a prenup.
