UK – Peaches Geldof, British television personality, socialite, and daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates has died. As reported by Yahoo Celebrity, the death of 25-year-old Geldof was confirmed on Monday by police.
Kent police said in a statement that they were working to establish the circumstances of the death, which was being treated as “unexplained and sudden,”
Irish singer-songwriter Bob Geldof is quoted as releasing the statement to the AP about his daughter’s death, “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child.
“How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.”
Peaches Geldof was married to S.C.U.M lead singer, Thomas Cohen, with whom she shares two sons.
