Husband to Christine Baranski, soap opera vet dies

New York – Soap opera veteran Matthew Cowles has passed away at the age of 69. As reported by TV Line, the actor, who was married to Christine Baranski, died on May 22. The cause of his death was not immediately made available.

Cowles’ manager Tsu Tsu Stanton announced his death on Twitter last week posting, “[Matthew] was a very gifted and kind man who loved life and everyone.”

The actor, who received two Emmy nominations for his long-term role on “All My Children” has also appeared on several other television shows such as “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and in multiple films.

Baranski and Cowles were married for 30 years and have two daughters together.
