Los Angeles – Singer Marc Anthony has been ordered to pay double the amount ordered previously per month in child support to his ex-wife Dayanara Torres. As reported by E! Online, a judge raised the monthly payments for the two sons Anthony shares with Torres from $13,400 to $26,800.
Torres has requested that the amount be raised to $123,426, but it was denied. She also made the claim that the singer had spent only 35 days with his sons last year, which Anthony has disputed.
Torres also requested in addition to child support between $4,000-$7,000 for housekeeping and a nanny.
Torres and Anthony were married for four years, from 2000-2004. Anthony married singer Jennifer Lopez after their divorce. He and Lopez split in 2011.
