Caring Alernatives, Inc. is hosting “Football 101, an excellent opportunity for gals/guys to learn and ask questions about football and get answers from former NFL players in a fun environment. Former Detroit Lion Ron Rice will be on hand this first week to kick off the event, answer questions, watch the game and sign autographs. Net proceeds from the weekly event will benefit Caring Alernatives, Inc.
“We felt this would be a good way to connect with the community and have fun” said Sharon Williams, founder and CEO of Caring Alternatives, Inc. “It gives us a opportunity to showcase our services that we have provided Monroe for the past 28 years.” William continues, “it also helps us raise necessary funds to continue to provide the services.”
Each week there will be raffles to win tickets to sit in the NFL Alumni Suite at Ford Field in December. In addition, there is another raffle for people to win a chance to go to the “Big Game” in February.
