New York – TV correspondent Maria Menounos was involved in an attack last week while leaving a New York airport. As reported by E! Online, an attacker vandalized the vehicle the she and others were riding in, shattering the back window.
Menounos is quoted as stating of the incident, “It really felt like something out of a movie… I heard an explosion and I started screaming, ‘Everyone down, we’re being shot at. Everyone down!”
The attacker reportedly did not use a gun, but broke the window with a tire wrench before running away.
Menounos further stated of the ordeal in which no one was reportedly hurt, “We didn’t know if we were being targeted.”
