Ireland – People in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway can now launch campaigns with Kickstarter. As reported by WebProNews, the company has opened in the countries, and projects will be listed in local currency.

Julie Wood of Kickstarter, is quoted in the report as stating of the matter, “People in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Ireland are some of the most creative in the world, and we can’t wait to see what projects they have in store for us. We expect to see great ideas in the categories of design, games, film, technology, and lots more!”

As noted in the report, Kickstarter has helped successfully launch over an estimated 72,000 projects.

In addition to the four countries, people in the US, UK, New Zealand, Australia, the Netherlands, and Canada can also launch campaigns with the platform.
