Illinois – A tractor-trailer driver involved in an accident with former iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is claiming that her $184,490.16 medical bill claim is an exaggeration. As reported by WebProNews, Cosgrove has filed a lawsuit claiming more than $1.5 million in damages over the 2011 accident in which she sustained a broken angle.
As noted in the report, much of the total is for purported lost earnings from booked concerts and contracts.
A source close to the star reportedly stated to People following the accident of injuries also sustained by Cosgrove’s mother and the bus driver, “Miranda’s mom was on the bus with her and got really beaten up by the crash…She’s expected to fully recover, but it’s scary because the driver was hurt, too, and he’s in really bad shape.”
