California – Actor Dean McDermott recently stated that he and wife Tori Spelling are in a better place amid reports about their marital troubles. As reported by WebProNews, the couple, whose relationship troubles have been documented on reality television, have been attempting to work on their marriage after McDermott admitted to having an affair.
McDermott is quoted as stating of the couple during an appearance on the Today show, “We are in a better place than ever. Our love is stronger. We’re solid. We’re communicating. We’re actually having a fully functional relationship.”
McDermott also claimed that he would be quitting the reality show True Tori as he continues to work on himself, further stating during the interview, “Don’t get me wrong. I’m not pooh-poohing the show and the whole experience I’ve had. I’ve learned a lot about myself, our relationship—it’s been a good process… But as it goes and continues, it’s taking a toll on me. It’s not good for me. It’s different for everybody. If it works for T, that’s great, but I’m finding I’m having a hard time with it.”
