‘Beverly Hillbillies’ star dies at 81

Louisiana – Actress Donna Douglas has passed away at age 81. As reported by WebProNews, the star whose most notable role was on “The Beverly Hillbillies,” died at her home in Louisiana on New Year’s Day.

Douglas’ death was confirmed by her granddaughter. She was reportedly with close friends and family at the time of her passing.

Aside from playing the role of Elly May Clampett from 1962 to 1971, Douglas has also appeared in several film and television roles.

As noted in the report, Max Baer, Jr. is currently the only surviving regular cast member of “The Beverly Hillbillies.”
