U.S. – Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis recently fired back at claims that infidelity played a role in the dissolution of her marriage. As reported by WebProNews, De Laurentiis released a statement following the implications made in the Star tabloid about her allegedly cheating on her husband, which the magazine claimed was the cause of their break up.
As noted in the report, De Laurentiis and her husband Todd Thompson, recently posted an announcement of their plans to divorce on Facebook, stating the two were amicable in their decision. However, Star and RadarOnline released subsequent stories suggesting De Laurentiis had cheated on her husband with multiple famous partners including John Mayer.
In an exclusive statement to Gossip Cop, De Laurentiis denied the allegations, and also stated of claims that men are attempting to blackmail her into keeping quiet about the purported affairs, “this is a complete fabrication. There are no men out there making any such claims, and I have never been contacted by anyone.”
