New York – “Good Morning America” show co-host Lara Spencer and her husband are reportedly calling it quits. As reported by WebProNews, Spencer and David Haffenreffer are divorcing after 15 years of marriage.
The couple recently released a statement to “Page Six” announcing their split stating, “After a lot of thought, care and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage… It’s a sad decision that did not come easily, especially because we respect and love each other and our children. They remain our top priority. We will raise them and care for them together.”
Spencer and Haffenreffer married in 2000, while she was a contributor to GMA and a WABC-TV reporter. He at the time was a contributor on a CNN morning program.
Spencer, who has also been host of “The Insider,” was named GMA co-host last April.
