Los Angeles – Comedian Chelsea Handler recently revealed that she had an experience with Bill Cosby a decade ago that left her unnerved. As reported by WebProNews, Handler opened up about the news in an interview with Esquire magazine recently.
Handler is quoted as stating of the events, “Oh, I was in Atlantic City playing, doing stand-up, and he was doing stand-up in Atlantic City in the same hotel, and at like three o’clock in the afternoon, someone from the hotel came down and said, ‘Oh, you know, Mr. Cosby would really like to meet you up in his hotel suite.’”
Handler further stated, “And I thought, ‘That’s really weird.’ This was like 10 years ago. And I said, ‘That’s really weird. I don’t want to go alone.’ I go, ‘I don’t know him.”
The comedian also said that she was reminded of the incident by a friend recently, amid all of the accusations that have surfaced against Cosby.
Multiple women have stepped forward with claims that been inappropriate with them. Some allege they were drugged and/or raped. Cosby has maintained his innocence.
