New York – Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin reportedly no longer speak. As reported by WebProNews, Philbin revealed the information in a recent interview with “The Today Show.”
Philbin is quoted as stating of his former “Live! with Regis and Kelly” co-host when asked by Hoda Kotb if the two had kept in touch since he left the show, “I haven’t seen her, I don’t see her,” and hasn’t talked to her since 2011.
In an effort to explain why, Philbin further stated, “She lived downtown, and now I hear she’s on the East Side and, uh, you know.”
The longtime former show host also said that even when they are in close proximity, the two don’t really make contact saying, “I was over there yesterday [at ABC] as a matter of fact, to do something for them. No, I didn’t see [her].”
Philbin did say, however; he maintains a relationship with another famed former co-host Kathy Lee Gifford.
Kelly now co-hosts the morning show “Live! With Kelly and Michael” with Michael Strahan.
