Fort Worth – The Fort Worth based personal injury attorneys of the Eberstein Witherite law firm are providing sponsorship for the 6th Annual R.E.A.C.H. Youth Camp. The camp is designed to enrich youth with disabilities by assisting them in transitioning through high school and with college preparation. This will be the first time the law firm will serve as a community partner of R.E.A.C.H., an organization that advocates for and works to empower individuals with all types of disabilities.
About R.E.A.C.H. Inc. (Rehabilitation, Education, and Advocacy for Citizens with Handicaps)
R.E.A.C.H. Inc. is a non profit organization that is governed and staffed primarily by individuals with disabilities. The organization’s mission is to help people who have disabilities take charge of their lives and be active participants in society. The 501c3 has office locations in Fort Worth, Dallas, Denton, and Plano.
The 6th Annual Youth Camp is set to be held from June 22- June 26, 2015 at the Fort Worth office location of R.E.A.C.H. The office is located at 1000 Macon Street, Suite 200, Fort Worth, Texas 76102-4527. The camp sessions will take place from 11a.m. to 3p.m. from Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. The camp is open to young persons with disabilities whose ages range from 13 to 22.
Eberstein Witherite will be donating 20 stuffed backpacks for the camp to be utilized for a field trip that will be taken to the Fort Worth Zoo on June 26. The camp will also host an annual bingo game during which participants can win various prizes. The field trip is free to camp participants. Free food and other items will also be provided to those in attendance.
