Pennsylvania – A Texas truck driver was recently killed in a six-vehicle accident in Cumberland County. PennLive.com reported Ismael Medina, 54, of Laredo, Texas was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.

The accident occurred on Interstate 81 after Medina crashed into the rear of a Mazda 6. The force pushed the vehicle into the median. The 18-wheeler then hit the rear of another vehicle that was also pushed into the median.

Continuing on, the big rig crashed into a third vehicle and then veered into the median and rolled onto its side. The collision caused the third vehicle that was hit to crash into the rear of a fourth passenger vehicle, which pushed into the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado.

The drivers of the five passenger vehicles were taken to various hospitals. An investigation into the accident was ongoing at the time of the report.
