TANZANIA, AFRICA – October 1st-7th of 2015, Zara Tours will lead its next biannual climb up Mount Kilimanjaro with the goal of cleaning the mountain and keeping it beautiful for many centuries to come.
Twice a year, the Zara team arranges a very special trip up Kilimanjaro, one focused on restoring the mountain and clearing away debris. All Zara porters, along with many others who are members of the Mount Kilimanjaro Porter Society (MKPS), will make the trek up, cleaning along the way. The group is inviting climbers of every level to join this environmental effort by volunteering to help preserve the majestic beauty of Kilimanjaro.
