Working humans need a break from the humdrum business day in order to maintain good morale and high productivity. Cue Operation Kindness and its rescued animals for Rescue-a-Human Day.
“Taking a ‘fur-therapy’ break to walk, play with or just hang out with a very friendly Operation Kindness animal in the fresh air is a great stress buster for employees,” says Jim Hanophy, chief executive officer. “After our rescue break, employees are refreshed, clear-minded and raring to go.”
Operation Kindness, the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas, offers its Rescue-a-Human Day program year round free of charge to all sizes of companies who want to treat their employees. The break lasts approximately two hours depending on the employer’s preference. The number of employees determines the number of animals Operation Kindness brings, though it can be up to 12 dogs and cats. During these cuteness breaks, Operation Kindness shares information about the organization, how participants can adopt animals, volunteer or donate.
To develop employee team skills, Operation Kindness offers Kindness, Inc. Renowned national trainer and CEO of the Professional Development Center, Steve Klein blends proven leadership training with unique interactive activities with the animals. This interactive approach enhances communication, improves individual and team accountability, boosts priorities management, empowers coaching skills and energizes the team.
“Company employees love having their team building day at Operation Kindness because we blend together the best in corporate training and the things you love about Operation Kindness – our animals and our beautifully landscaped park,” explains Hanophy. “Our professional trainer, Steve Klein, customizes the training to meet a company’s specific initiative or issues. This helps ensure improved communications and collaboration, which improves the team’s productivity and morale.”
Kindness, Inc. is ideal for groups of 10-20 employees and goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but can be tailored to a company’s needs. Lunch and certificates of completion are included in the $250/employee training fee.
