Daniel Chon – president, CEO and co-founder of AccelSPINE® – has been named a finalist for D CEO’s Excellence in Healthcare Awards. Finalists will be recognized in the December issue of D CEO and winners will be announced in that same publication.
AccelSPINE is a nationally recognized medical device designer and manufacturer headquartered in Dallas. Chon was nominated in the Achievement in Medical Devices/Technology category for the contributions he and his company have made to the health care and medical device industries.

Chon has more than a decade of experience in the medical/health care fields and is a dedicated entrepreneur who has served in a variety of leadership roles for start-up ventures in health care, technology and international business. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin, and his graduate studies include a neuroscience program and an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Actively involved in the community, Chon supports several causes such as the Spina Bifida Association, Alzheimer’s Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. He also travels abroad on medical mission trips, providing much-needed medical supplies and training.
