Its award-winning building was designed by 5G Studio and was 5G Studio’s second facility. The design concept built upon the success of their first facility in Frisco, Texas where the distinctive architecture and interior design of the facility continue to bring as much brand recognition as the exceptional medical service. The building combines two traditionally separate programs, the emergency room and the urgent care, under one roof. The progressive architectural design integrated the elements of sustainable and evidence-based design to offer a soothing environment for patients seeking care under distressed conditions. The project held its ground breaking ceremony on March 21, 2013.
Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer Jay Woody, MD states, “Since we started Legacy ER & Urgent Care in 2008 we wanted to present a completely different health care experience for our patients and that included the aesthetic of the facility.
