RiskSpan, the data management, data applications, and predictive analytics firm that specializes in risk solutions for the mortgage, capital markets, and banking industries, today announced it is relocating its headquarters to the Rosslyn business district in Arlington, Virginia.
Currently located in Vienna, Virginia, RiskSpan will move to the 12th Floor of Arlington Tower, located at 1300 17th St North, in Arlington, Virginia.
“This is an exciting milestone for the firm. Our data management and analytics business is growing rapidly. In the past year, we’ve increased the ranks of our junior quant and technology staff by more than 30%. We want to be an employer of choice for this type of talent,” said CEO Bernadette Kogler.
The new location, a modern office space with 5400 square feet, offers varied collaborative workplaces, video conference rooms, and an open floor plan. It is one block from the Rosslyn Metro and offers wall-to-wall views of the Potomac River and downtown Washington, DC.
The company’s decision to relocate was driven by the need for the abundance of tech talent available in the heart of the DC Metro market. A HousingWire Tech100 winner, RiskSpan focused on identifying a denser corridor of other technology-focused businesses in a transit-oriented development hub.
When asked about the reason for the move, Patrick Doherty, Chief Operating Officer said, “Rosslyn is attracting both large, established enterprises and a new critical mass of tech startups. We are excited to join the neighborhood. Our team is seeking better proximity to other creative technology and business leaders in what has become a real innovation hub in the DC Metro area. The views of the monuments from our new office don’t hurt.”
The new office will open on July 1, 2017. RiskSpan also has office locations in Charleston, South Carolina and Stamford, Connecticut.
RiskSpan simplifies the management of complex data in the mortgage, capital markets, and banking industries.
