Oregon – Brittany Maynard, who made national headlines after making the decision to end her life following a terminal brain cancer diagnosis, has died. As reported by WebProNews, many now question Maynard’s decision, particularly after her previous announcement that she would wait as opposed to sticking to her original plan.
Maynard; however, passed away in Oregon after being assisted in suicide in accordance with provisions of the state’s Death with Dignity Law.
Some people have criticized Maynard’s decision citing religious ideology, while others have spoken out in support of it.
In an open letter posted on YouTube one woman who is battling the same condition Maynard had is quoted as stating, “All of us are feeling your loss, your pain. Nobody is judging, but people are watching.”
