/PRAvenueNW/ Over the last few years, Tony Del Gatto, owner of Grissini Ristorante in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, has noticed an interesting trend on Valentine’s Day. It seems more and more people are celebrating the day before and the day after, says Del Gatto. Whether it’s conflicting schedules or not making reservations in time, the owner states that his dining room is full of couples celebrating their love for nearly a week.
With Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday this year, the owner has been preparing his staff for an extremely busy weekend. And in light of the trend, Grissini will be offering customers the opportunity to choose from their Valentine’s Day menu Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With the economy the way it is and people working longer hours to keep their jobs, we want to cater to the needs of our customers in every way possible. We want to give everyone the chance to enjoy a dinner with his or her Amore, he adds.
The celebratory menu features dishes like Romantic Risotto, tossed with rose champagne and crabmeat, Ravioli and Lobster in Love (pink sauce) and even the staple Valentines dessert, strawberries and chocolate – sure to satisfy Saint Valentine himself.
In addition to the specials Venetian-born chef Alberto Leandri will prepare, Grissini will offer their regular menu for those who prefer a non pre-fixed bill of fare.
Grissini Ristorante is located at 484 Sylvan Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The restaurant is open for lunch on weekdays and for dinner seven days / week. Reservations are recommended: 201.568.3535 or www.grissinirestaurant.com.
