Scott-Randall Furniture Designer Showroom To Close
Houston, Texas – September 17, 2009 — Scott-Randall Designer Showroom is going out of business and will soon close its doors forever. Founded by Dan Johnson and Michael Gonzalez, Scott-Randall has been one of the largest model home furniture suppliers in the country. Also a destination for interior designers looking for just the right home furnishings for their clients and earning a reputation for attentive service and dedication to their customers. While Scott-Randall has previously been open to the trade only, while inventory remains, the public will be allowed to buy at Below Wholesale Prices.
The decision to close the showroom was made by Johnson, who has revealed plans for a major closing event that will take place in the coming weeks. In announcing the closing, Johnson stated, “The decision to close has been a difficult one. Dan and his partner, Michael have been a part of the history in Houston most of their lives. “There comes a time to move on, and we will miss the relationships with our Scott- Randall clients that we have built over the years.”
“The Scott-Randall going-out-of-business total liquidation will begin on September 17, 2009″, Johnson continued. “This magnificent showroom located in the designer district has never been open to the general public. Business has been conducted exclusively with outside designers and home builders that used it for helping their clients. Now that the decision to close has been made, the general public will have a unique opportunity to see and buy quality home furnishings for the first time at discounts below wholesale”. Johnson went on to say, “We have reductions of up to 75% on every item in the showroom from such well-known manufacturers as Highland House, Hooker, Rowe, Broyhill, Stanley, Fine hand made rugs, and many others fine suppliers. Johnson continued, “We have thousands of unique accessories and hand made oriental rugs available for immediate delivery. Over $2 million of fine quality home furnishings will be sold as quickly as possible at the lowest prices in the area”.” Johnson continued, “Every item in the multi-million dollar inventory will be sold, regardless of cost…This is a wall-to-wall total liquidation and store closing.”
According to Johnson, the total liquidation event will allow them a special opportunity to serve area residents and to say thanks for the memories. Johnson said, “We have been so gratified by the wonderful support our customers have given us over these many years. That’s why we’ve decided to have a major going-out-of-business total liquidation and offer price reductions unlike any we’ve ever had in our history. This event will give the area residents the opportunity to own fine home furnishings at once-in-a-lifetime savings, and it will be our way of saying, ‘thanks’.”
