Legal news for Florida Aviation Accident attorneys. A small plane crashed into a pasture in Plant City, resulting in the loss of two lives.

A plane wreck in Hillsborough County leaves 2 passengers with fatal injuries.

Two lives were lost in a tragic single-engine plane crash that occurred shortly before noon on Sunday, November 29, 2009 as reported by officials at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). The plane wreck took place in a rural neighborhood just outside of Plant City, Florida in Hillsborough County. Local residents who reportedly witnessed the crash, claimed that the plane nose-dived into a patch of trees before hitting the ground behind their home in Tangled Oats Trail, according to CBS news. The eyewitnesses also claimed to have heard the engine sputter before its descent. The plane eventually crashed into a pasture maintaining an upside-down position. Sources allegedly said that the wings were torn off and debris was found scattered around the surrounding land. Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration (http://www.faa.gov) arrived at the scene of the small plane crash late Sunday afternoon. Though the identities of the victims of the plane crash were unannounced, emergency medical personnel allegedly believe that the passengers aboard the small aircraft died due to the severity of their plane crash. The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined what specifically caused both plane crash fatalities. Hillsborough officials along with FAA authorities continue to investigate the tragic crash.
