A Dallas family is heartbroken after thieves reportedly burglarize their home.

Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – A Dallas family has been left heartbroken after thieves reportedly burglarized their home, and stole their Christmas gifts. As reported by CBS 11 News, the thieves broke into the home of Sharon Barr after throwing a brick through the window of her living room and took gifts Barr had purchased for her teenage grandson.

Barr is quoted in the report as stating of being unable to replace the stolen items for her grandson, “I’m not able to buy him nothing no more because my money is gone… He’s upset. It’s hurting him.”

As noted in the CBS 11 report, relatives of the family say they are relieved that no one was physically harmed during the break-in. Police are reportedly continuing to investigate the theft.
