A Brazilian man and his girlfriend reportedly stuck dozens of needles in his two year-old stepson in a revenge plot against the toddler’s mother.
Rio de Janeiro (WiredPRNews.com) – A man in Brazil and his lover have been arrested after sticking over 30 needles inside his stepson’s body. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Roberto Carlos Magalhaes recently stated in an interview that he was seeking revenge on the mother of the two-year-old in carrying out the torture of the child.
Magalhaes is quoted by the AP as stating to “Fantastico” of his drugging the child before sticking him with needles, “I did this two or three times a week during one month… It was truly an unbearable suffering. It was to get back at the boy’s mother. I thought the needles would work their way through his body and kill the boy. It was a way to kill without anyone discovering.”
As noted in the report, the toddler has so far undergone one operation to begin removing the needles from his body. He was reported as doing well Sunday following the first of three anticipated surgeries.
