Citrus Heights, CA – March 16, 2010 — Paradise Laundry, a new, state-of-the-art Green Laundromat, has opened in Citrus Heights at 7601 Sunrise Blvd. offering the latest in eco-friendly equipment that saves customers money and time.
“Wash Green and Save Green,” says Deborah Dower, owner of Paradise Laundry. She is excited about sharing with customers how her store’s all-new energy efficient washers and dryers can reduce the impact of doing laundry on the environment while saving money. “We encourage our customers to wash in cold water and pass the savings on to them with our Eco Wash price starting at only $0.75.” Lighter Load operates within Paradise Laundry and provides drop-off service which includes stain removal, wash, dry and folding for only $0.99 lb. This added service will reduce customers’ home energy costs and lighten their workload freeing them up for other more enjoyable activities.
On Saturday, March 20th, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, as part of the Grand Opening weekend festivities, Paradise Laundry will provide one FREE wash to the first 50 customers on their new 20lb and 30lb water saving, energy efficient front load washers. Other Grand Opening weekend activity includes free food, beverages, raffle prizes and give-a-ways.
Jim Dower, co-owner explains, “Front load machines use less water and are easier on our customers’ clothing than top loading washers. Our Dexter Express washers spin at 200 G (force of gravity) removing most of the water used during washing. This cuts the drying time by up to 33%, saves our customers time and money and reduces the amount of natural gas used in the drying process.”
The Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday March 19th at 2:00 PM. Paradise Laundry is located at 7601 Sunrise Blvd on the corner of Sunrise and Old Auburn behind SAFE Credit Union.
