Driver plows through Starbucks window

A driver drove through a window of a Frisco Starbucks last week.

Frisco, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – A driver plowed through the window of a Starbucks coffee shop in Frisco last week. As reported by NBC DFW News, the driver of a Dodge truck was subsequently apprehended by authorities after being seen dragging furniture from the building down the road following the crash.

Frisco police Sgt. Adam Henderson is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “Usually there’s people out on the patio, lots of people walking between Starbucks and Twin Peaks, so we are fortunate it was a little later… No one out there on the patio or in the store itself.”

As noted in the report, the driver Calvin McGowan and passenger Richard Evans both faces charges due to leaving the scene and alleged intoxication during the accident. No injuries were reported, however, the crash reportedly resulted in approximately $80,000 worth of damage.
