News for Indiana auto accident attorneys- An automobile accident in Winchester, Indiana caused three people to suffer serious and fatal injuries.

Winchester, IN—A two-vehicle crash occurred in Randolph County, Indiana, which left three people with injuries ranging from serious to fatal. The fatal motor vehicle accident occurred on Sunday, April 11, 2010 and was caused by a motorist’s failure to stop at a stop sign, according to information provided by TheStarPress.com.

Reports stated 29-year-old Brandan J. Able was traveling east on Randolph County Road 300-S at approximately 8:20 p.m. when he allegedly ran a stop sign, consequently sideswiping a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Mark D. Doan, which had been traveling south on Bloomingsport Road.

Emergency medical services (EMS) personnel responded to the scene of the automobile accident where a passenger riding in Doan’s vehicle, identified as 55-year-old Sue E. Doan, suffered severe injuries which proved fatal at the scene. Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were transported to St. Vincent Randolph Hospital after the motor vehicle collision (MVC). Doan was then airlifted to Methodist Hospital while Able was flown to Miami Valley Hospital for further treatment.

It was not reported whether alcohol/drugs and/or speed played a role in the deadly wreck. Charges are pending further investigation into the Randolph County motor vehicle accident.
