A Dallas cab driver was ejected from his vehicle after a drive by shooting.
Dallas (WiredPRNews.com) – Two passengers tossed a Dallas cab driver from his vehicle after the cab was hit in a drive by shooting. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, passengers Fidel Retana, 25, and Ezequiel Vasquez, 31, left 30 year-old driver Bashir Abraham in the street as he lay dying while they drove to a hospital following the shooting.
Jamal Ganamo, manager of Ambassador Cab, a company the victim and his father worked for, is quoted in the report as stating, “It’s very sad… I don’t understand why they wouldn’t take him to the hospital. It’s unbelievable.”
Sgt. Bruce McDonald is further quoted in the report as stating of the continuing investigation regarding the incident, “We’re just trying to sort it out… We’re still trying to determine if our guys were the targets. It’s convoluted right now.”
