A Houston teen has been charged after crashing his truck into a house and injuring a child.
Houston (WiredPRNews.com) – A Houston teen, who crashed his vehicle into a house, is being charged with intoxication manslaughter. As reported by MYFOXDFW News, the accident, which occurred when the teen crashed his pickup truck into a house in southeast Houston, resulted in the serious injury of a four month old.
As noted in the report, 19 year-old David Chacon ran a stop sign and into the house in his black Chevrolet Silverado and struck four month old Elizabeth Cedillo, while she lay sleeping inside of the home. Chacon reportedly fled the scene after the accident and was subsequently arrested.
As further noted by MYFOXDFW.com, the infant was placed on life support after being taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
