Bethesda Softworks titles added to Stardock’s digital distribution platform
July 27, 2010 — Impulse, the PC video game digital distribution platform from Stardock, has announced that publisher Bethesda Softworks has made its games available on the service. The Bethesda game catalog, which includes Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, are now available at impulsedriven.com.
Impulse allows users to purchase, immediately download, and install a game through the Impulse client which seamlessly manages updates and provides community features.
The Impulse client also features ImpulseTV which allows fans to watch videos and commentary from the seasoned Impulse publishing staff and more. As games are purchased through Impulse they become part of the user account. If a user purchases a new machine, they can simply re-download the Impulse client along with all of their previous purchases.
