This week Queensland Motorcycle School (QMS) added a free online motorbike classifieds section to their website, where people can post their motorcycles, motorbike parts and accessories for sale. The service is free. The service was primarily designed to allow students of Queensland Motorcycle School to buy and sell motorcycle parts and accessories easily, but owner Mark Langford sees the service as being valuable for anyone throughout Australia who needs to buy or sell motorbikes, parts and accessories.
Located near Maroochydore, Queensland Motorcycle School was established in 1997 and has a long history in Queensland providing motorcycle training courses and Q Ride Assessments throughout the Sunshine Coast. “Our philosophy is to teach correct riding techniques and safest road craft skills to establish a sound foundation to start you off on your new motorcycling way of life” says Mark. The school offers one-on-one Beginners Motorcycle Training courses and also advanced courses for those coming back to motorcycle riding, and in need of a refresher.
The Buy and Sell classifieds section of the website is seen as a natural expansion of the services offered by QMS, and the system is really easy to use. No sign up is required by sellers or buyers, and QMS doesn’t handle any of the financial transactions between buyers and sellers. “We just introduce the buyers and sellers, and they then handle things from there” says Mark. Ads in the classifieds section stay live for 30 days then automatically expire, however sellers are prompted to renew their ads if they wish.
All of Queensland Motorcycle School’s services, including the classifieds section can be found on their website: www.queenslandmotorcycleschool.com.au .
