Las Vegas – A California teen is facing seven felony DUI charges after a fatal car crash in Nevada. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Jean Ervin Soriano, 18, was charged this week in connection with the freeway accident in which five members of a Southern California family were killed. Two other individuals were reportedly injured.
The accident occurred on Interstate 15 in March. Soriano is in protective custody at Clark County jail, and is being held on $3.5 million bail.
In addition to the seven felony counts of driving under the influence causing death or substantial injury, Soriano has also been charged with two misdemeanors.
