U.S. – Reports suggest the highly anticipated Apple watch may be launched in March. As reported by WebProNews, sources say that Apple is in the finalization stages, working to improve features of the software and is expected to launch multiple versions of the device.
The least expensive of the wrist accessory will reportedly be the aluminum “Sport” version that will sell for $350. A stainless steel version is expected to cost in the $500 range.
The gold version, quoted as being described as “a watch case crafted from 18-karat gold that our metallurgists have developed to be up to twice as hard as standard gold” could cost as much as $5,000.
As reported by 9to5 Mac sources also say that Apple is planning a testing program to allow employees in retail stores to become familiar with the new product.
